THIS YEAR'S NEW ENTRIES are Bad Medicine that moved in a three-way tie for 10th on the all-time list with a 266, and Cloud Nine, this year's champs, that took over the 8th spot.

While there was no 300 pounder in 2018, it was still quality cow tuna fishing, and there were many reports of breakoffs of huge tuna. Nevertheless, 8 fish over 200 pounds were brought to the scale by the 6 p.m. deadline this year, topped by the 272-pound yellowfin by 2018 champion Cloud Nine that emerged in the No. 8 all-time slot for the 20-year year history of the event.

Cloud Nine was the only team with two fish in the 2018 top list with their winning 272 pounder and a 230 pounder. Bad Medicine 266 pounder this year is now in a three-way tied for 10th place all-time. The 57-pound wahoo by Blue Marlin is the second biggest in the history of the event, behind a 61 pounder.
