Tesoro Hotel, Soloman's to host new Thursday sit-down party on malecon

The day-to-day schedule is essentially the same for 2008 as it was last year, although a new Thursday party on the malecon in front of the Tesoro and Soloman's has been added.

Oct. 10: Early Bird deadline for entering team drawing for prize package

Wednesday, Nov. 5: Sponsored by Costa Del Mar
Check-in 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Puerto Paraiso Mall. Costa Del Mar party to follow with introductions, drawings, rules.

Thursday, Nov. 6: Sponsored by Tesoro Hotel
Weigh-in 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Marina scale. Sit-down party hosted by Tesoro Hotel, official hotel of the Tuna Jackpot, and Solomans's Landing, 8 p.m. to 9:30; No-host, just $10 a plate buffet. Inexpensive pitchers/beers. Results, free drawings. No wristbands required.

Friday, Nov. 7: Sponsored by Cabo Wabo/Soloman's
Weigh-in 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by Cabo Wabo Rock and Roll party 7:30-9:30 p.m. Catered by Soloman's Landing (hosted). Includes hors d'houvres and one free drink, live band, drawings and results and video.

Saturday, Nov. 8: Sponsored by Puerto Paraiso Mall
Let's Talk Hookup live broadcast, 7-9 a.m. Pisces office, Cabo marina area.

Awards dinner at Puerto Paraiso Mall on the malecon: 5:30 p.m. the bar opens, the band plays 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Dinner is served at 6:30 and the awards presentation/drawing/auction begins just after 7 p.m.and runs until 9:30 p.m.

THE EMPHASIS IN CABO every year is on fun, and the five-day schedule in Cabo San Lucas on Nov. 5-8 makes it all possible. The team Check-In at the Puerto Paraiso Mall by the marina on Wednesday goes on for several hours as the beer flows, followed by a raucous Captains' Meeting at night when the first of four nightly free drawings are held, and of course there's another great Rock and Roll party again planned Friday night at Cabo Wabo nightclub and new Tesoro party new for this year in Thursday night.
